Individual Learning Plan - June 08

Last Updated on Thursday, July 03, 2008 at 5:02 AM

As we continue to transition remaining districts to the Infinite Campus product, I want to remind each district that KDE will again pay the license and support fees for the Kentucky Student Information System for the upcoming school year. For the districts in the Pilot and Wave 1 group, you will start the year using the Infinite Campus product and will be licensed for the Infinite Campus core product. The licensing and support fees for all remaining districts for 2008-09 are covered in the implementation project budget.

The remaining districts in Waves 2 – 7 will begin the 2008-09 school year using the STI core products including STIOffice, STIDistrict, STIHealth and STISETS. KDE will absorb the license and support costs for the STI core products so that your district can focus on migration to the Infinite Campus software and support activities involved in that transition -- such as data clean up and any advanced training that your staff may pursue.

It is important that your district continue to pay licensing and support costs for all optional STI modules and services in a timely manner.

If you have questions about the software licenses and support agreements for STI or Infinite Campus, contact Kay Kennedy at (502) 564-5279, or via email at mailto:Kay.Kennedy@education.ky.gov , or you may contact your Office of District Support Services field staff member.
