In Kentucky schools, we will make available high quality counseling, psychological and social services.  This will engage students in activities that focus on cognitive, emotional, behavioral and social needs of individuals, groups, and families.  It will be designed to prevent and address problems, facilitate positive learning and healthy behavior, and enhance healthy development.

Student Family Support - Provides resources to help students and families address instructional challenges, particularly those barriers affecting students with special needs.

Community Engagement - A community's engagement in schools is a way to focus public attention on the partnership necessary to bring every student to his or her fullest potential.

Mental Health and Mental Retardation Services - To build resilience in individuals and their communities, and facilitate recovery for people whose lives have been affected by mental illness, mental retardation or other developmental disability, substance abuse or an acquired brain injury.

Exceptional Children Services - The Division of Exceptional Children Services is primarily responsible for special education
