HIGH SCHOOL OPTION: Due to Advanced Placement Testing occurring the first two weeks of May, there is an optional early test date for high schools. The two optional testing windows for 2009 will be:
Testing Window #Option 1: April 20 – May 1
Testing Window #Option 2: April 27 – May 8
Note: Due to security, all high schools in a district must be on the same test schedule.
DISTRICT OPTION: KDE recognizes that May 2009 testing can impact the established calendar for an entire district and not just the high schools. (For example, the last day of school is May 12 for an entire district). A district may use one of the optional testing windows listed above. If a district chooses an option, all grade levels (E, M, and H) must test during the same test window.
