DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide executive secretary services to the Office of the Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Education under the provisions of KRS 18A.115 (K).
File, prepare, draft, proofread and copy correspondence, reports and other documents for the Office of the Commissioner.
Track correspondence.
Prioritize and distribute mail to appropriate individuals.
Answer phones and assist callers.
Assist in maintaining the Office of the Commissioner files.
Prepare agenda committee dates and information packets for meetings.
Prepare purchase requisitions.
Serve as payroll liaison and is responsible for the collection and verification of timesheets.
Order and maintain office equipment.
Assist support staff with overflow.
Serve as web point of contact for the office.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Sufficient education and/or experience which would assure knowledge, skills and abilities to accomplish position objectives.

Pay Grade: 12
Gross Monthly Salary Range: $2427.44 - $3215.72
