(FRANKFORT, Ky.) – The window to apply for the Minority Superintendent Internship Program (MSIP) has been extended.
Applications will be accepted through April 18. The MSIP provides opportunities for qualified minority educators to serve as assistants to successful Kentucky superintendents.
Since the program’s inception in 2003, two of the program’s interns have been selected as Kentucky school superintendents: Elaine Farris, who served as superintendent for the Shelby County school district, and Diane Woods of the Campbellsville Independent school district.
The program will begin in late June and run through June of 2009. Applicants should be certified or close to fulfilling superintendent certification.
