Last Updated on Tuesday, March 06, 2007 at 5:17 AM

High school arts and humanities includes the completion of one credit which is required for graduation from high school. The course History and Appreciation of Visual and Performing Arts includes study of dance, drama, music, visual arts, and literature in discipline based and historical contexts. Schools can fulfill the course requirement by offering a stand-alone course or use content embedding options where curriculum components of the arts and humanities course are covered in other required courses.
