Language Learning

Language Learning implies second language acquisition and refers to:

1) the study of English as a Second Language (ESL) for students whose native language is not English; and

2) the study of languages other than English (e.g., ASL, Chinese, French, German, Latin, Japanese, Russian and Spanish) for students whose native language is not the language studied.

English Language Learning (ELL) English as a Second Language (ESL)
Information for teaching English Language Learners (ELL - students whose primary language is other than English.)

Other World Languages
The study of languages other than English (e.g., ASL, Chinese, French, German, Latin, Japanese, Russian and Spanish) for students whose native language is not the language studied.
