Middle Web provides a wealth of resources for schools, districts, educators, parents, and public school advocates working to raise achievement for all students in the middle grades.

National Middle School Association -NMSA

NMSA is the only national education association dedicated exclusively to the growth of middle level education.  NMSA welcomes and provides support to anyone interested in the health and education of young adolescents.

Southern Regional Education Board

This partnership allows participating schools to receive intensive assistance in data-based decision-making processes, program evaluation, curriculum alignment, instructional planning, and professional development.  Kentucky participates in two initiatives with SREB's member states and partner school districts to raise the achievement of middle grade students.

Making Middle Grades Work Consortium

The goal of this consortium is to raise the academic achievement of all middle grade students.  Technical assistance visits help school leaders and teachers identify changes needed to improve student achievement in the middle grades by implementing a comprehensive improvement framework, which includes comprehensive planning.

Making Schools Work Consortium
The goal of the initiative is to work with clusters of high schools and their feeder middle grades to raise student achievement  in rural areas.  MSW seeks to accelerate academic achievement in middle grades and high school by changing what students are taught; how they are taught; when they are taught certain academic subjects; how teachers relate to students, other teachers, and parents; and how teachers receive support.
